This is Pontelan.... fat, heavyweight, cuddly feline... belong to my brother, whose living next door. I caught her last time, whey she try stealing Whiskas which I kept for my cat.... She's very quite, doesn't meow much and sneaking like fat ninja from the Kitchen windows.... making her way undetectable barely, trying to climb the cupboard.. reaching for the purple packages of Whiskas...
As I caught her red pawed... she's in her typical expressionless face... trying to look cute.. and managed to pose for my photo shot... and walk away without shame nor remorse...
This is Pontelan trying to pick fight with my scared to the bone cat... Misai (her other name was Macan Tutul).. I am sure Pontelan is just trying to make friend and play .. but this paranoid, nervous and low self esteemed Misai just scream and defence herself without reason...

The statistic would say, she's will definitely lose to the heavyweight Pontelan.... but yet no sign of surrender nor social negotiation initiated by Misai... a very disturbed and not smart cat...
My mother have other theory.. perhaps Pontelan is feeling resentful for our cat and want to get rid of them... so she can monopolize the Whiskas for herself...
Misai is not just fearful with Pontelan, she's totally paranoid with people she's doesn't know... especially me... the person who supply the Food Aid.... ungrateful creature.....

Waitlah, when I am gone and start living away again... don't dream to have crunchy Whiskas.... back to left over fish and rice....

There is new brand of cat food called Iams and Royal Canine.
Last time I checked, cost about 27 ringgit per kg compared with whiskas at 15 ringgit. But these are imported from USA. Good stuff.
Not so sure if it is halal but Cat go to heaven anyway from what I heard.
According to the Vet that I had met a month ago, whiskas and friskies are junk food to the cat. I do not know where she got the idea.
If you buy 3Kg, Iams and Royal Canine cost a bit better at 60 ringgit. At this price maybe human can eat too if you are short of food supply or if you don't have time to cook.
You buy this type of food, I am sure all the cat in the vicinity will fight over it.
RM27 per kg...with that range of price tag, I could buy myself a nice and fresh ikan tenggiri, or ikan merah, or ikan bawal, or ikan sembilang... then the left over can be share among the ungrateful cat.....
Thank you for the suggestion, but no thank... I do want to escalate the feline conflict even further....
Actually 27 ringgit is about 1.5kg. Last at least about 2 weeks. With math, it is about 2 ringgit a day. You cannot really buy ikan tenggiri, ikan bawal or ikan merah with 2 ringgit.
My sister feed her persian cat(actually born in Malaysia not Iran) with Royal Canine.According to her it require a balance diet for its delicate hair.
I opt for the cheapest RM10 from Tesco for my cat. Made from Thailand. I fed the cat with this junk for about 1 year and now (Kutty is her the name)is getting bald. Not sure if Yun Nam or Stevenson can remedy hair loss from cat.
I think the essence of the matter is that,do we get anything in return by spending money on pet?
I say yes, they do bring some joy and happiness to some people. My cat, a gutter cat will ran even from 100m away when I came back to greet me and slide at my leg.
Our prophet loves cat. So, actually it is a sunnah to love cat and take a good care of it.
